Chicken feet mainly consist of skin, connective tissue, cartilage, and tiny bones, making them easily digestible. Due to their soft and brittle texture after dehydrated, they will crush when chewed and not break into pointy objects. Therefore are fully digestible and safe for dogs and cats.
It's naturally rich in protein, glucosamine, and chondroitin, which are building blocks of cartilage and connective tissue. Proven to have positive effects of glucosamine and chondroitin supplementation for joint health, arthritis, affecting the overall mobility of dogs and cats. Each chicken foot has about 450mg of glucosamine.
One of the best way to supplement extra calcium too.
Not forgetting the chewing process will naturally remove plaque and tartar build-up on their teeth.
